One-Day Dog Grooming Course

This hands-on, one-day course is designed to teach you essential grooming skills and give you the confidence to care for your dog at home.

 

During the day, you will learn how to:

​

-Identify your dog’s coat type and conformation

-Choose and use grooming tools and products effectively

-Bathe and fluff dry your dog correctly

-Carry out prep work including nail trimming, ear cleaning, hygiene tidy-ups, and brushing

-Clip and/or scissor your dog into your chosen style (guided by us after lunch)

Course details:

​

Training days: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday

Times: 9:00am – 3:00/3:30pm

Year-round enrolment – start whenever suits you

​

All grooming equipment is provided for the day, and we’ll happily recommend the best tools to purchase for home use.

 

What to bring:

​

-Your dog (freshly walked and toileted before arrival)

-Your own lunch and drinks

​

Before booking:

Please let us know your dog’s breed and whether you are left- or right-handed so we can prepare the most suitable tools for you.

 

Important Information Regarding Aggressive Behaviour
If your dog has a history of aggression, please contact us before booking. We’re happy to chat through your options and may suggest a pre-course assessment to ensure safety for all.

Please note: if your dog shows any signs of aggression on the day, the course will be halted and no refund will be issued.
